Biographical note

Nicholas C. Burbules is professor of educational policy studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Thomas A. Callister, Jr. is associate professor and chair of the Department of Education at Whitman College, in Washington State. They have published numerous articles, together and separately, on education and technology issues.
