Francesco dell'Isola is a Professor of Structural Mechanics at the Università degli Studi di Roma 'La Sapienza', Italy, and Director of the International Research Centre of Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems (M&MoCS) at the University of L'Aquila. David J.
