Biographical note

Tsu-Yang Wu received the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Mathematics, National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan (R.O.C.). Currently, he is Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, China. In the past, he worked at Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen Campus), Shandong University of Science and Technology, and Fujian University of Technology. He serves as Executive Editor in the Journal of Network Intelligence (Scopus, EI). Recently, Dr. Wu selected 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Single Year World’s Top 2% Scientists. His research interests include cryptography, network security, and metaheuristic optimization.

 

Shaoquan Ni, 2003-07 to present, is Professor, Southwest Jiaotong University, School of Transportation and Logistics, and Director of the Institute of Transportation Information Technology.

 

Jeng-Shyang Pan is Professor and Dean of Artificial Intelligence Research Institute in Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He also got the part-time work in Shandong University of Science and Technology. He received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, the M.. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, the UK, in 1996. He has published more 500 papers indexed by SCI, the H-Index is 72, and the total cited times are more than 21000. He is IET Fellow, UK, and has been Vice Chair of IEEE Tainan Section. He was awarded gold prize in the International Micro Mechanisms Contest held in Tokyo, Japan, in 2010. His current research interests include soft computing, artificial intelligence and information hiding.

 

Shu-Chuan Chu, female, Ph.D., Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. She got the Bachelor Degree from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1988 and was awarded a Ph.D. in Faculty of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering from Flinders University, Australia, in 2004. She has 24 years of experience in artificial intelligence research, including intelligent computing, data mining, information hiding, and machine learning. From 2004 to 2013, she worked in the Department of Information Management,Cheng Shiu University in Taiwan. During this period, she implemented a total of 8 projects for the National Science Council of Taiwan, including chairing 3 projects and co-hosting 5 projects. From 2009 to 2019, she served as Research Fellow and Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Science and Engineering at Flinders University. From September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2024, she served as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology. Currently, she is the Professor in School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology.
