Biographical note
Dr. Illés Zoltán, PhD, Habil. has started higher education studies in subjects Mathematics and Physics at Eötvös Loránd University. He later took up the Computer Science supplementary course, which was started at that time. He got a Hungarian’s Republic scholarship based on his outstanding academic achievements during his university studies. He graduated in 1985, after which he started working at the Department of Computer Science of Eötvös Loránd University.He completed his PhD dissertation entitled “Implementation of Real-Time Measurements for High-Energy Ion Radiations” in 2001. In 2004, at the request of Jedlik Publisher, he also wrote a textbook on the C# programming language. This book has a second, expanded edition in 2008. In 2007 he was awarded a scholarship by the Slovak Academy of Sciences, where he spent six months researching and teaching at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The NJSZT awarded the Rezső Tarján Prize in 2016 for the success of the joint work that has been going on ever since. He and his colleagues also researched the issue of mobile devices and applications in the framework of a TéT_SK tender won in 2014. Based on their research findings, he launched a pilot project to support real-time, innovative performance management. The first results of this research are an integral part of his habilitation dissertation. He has been an invited speaker at several international conferences and a member of the Amity University Advisory Board since 2020.
Dr. Chaman Verma is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Media and Educational Informatics, Faculty of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University. He is also the Project Leader and Chief researcher of his project sponsored by National Research, Development and Innovation (NRDI) Hungary. He also won a young educator scholarship for novel research sponsored by the EKÖP, NRDI Fund, and the Hungarian Government. He pursued a post-doctorate at the faculty of informatics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, sponsored by UNKP, MIT (Ministry of Innovation and Technology), the National Research, Development and Innovation (NRDI) Fund, Hungarian Government. He received a Ph.D. in informatics from the Doctoral School of Informatics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, with the Stipendium Hunagricum Scholarship funded by the Tempus Public Foundation, Government of Hungary. During his Ph.D., he won the EFOP Scholarship, Co-Founded by the European Union Social Fund and the Government of Hungary, as a Professional Research Assistant in a real-time system from 2018 to 2021. He also received the Stipendium Hungaricum Dissertation Scholarship of Tempus Public Foundation, Government of Hungary, from 2021 to 2022. He has been awarded several Erasmus Scholarships for conducting international research and academic collaboration with European and non-European universities. He received the best Scientific Publication award from the faculty of informatics, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, In the years 2021-2024. He has also been awarded the ÚNKP scholarship for research by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology and the National Research, Development and Innovation (NRDIO) Fund, Government of Hungary, 2021-2023. He has around ten years of experience in teaching and industry. He has over 150 scientific publications in the IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, IOP Science, Walter de Gruyter and MDPI. His research interests include data analytics, feature engineering, real-time systems, and educational informatics. He is a Life Member of ISTE, New Delhi, India. He is a member of the editorial board and a reviewer of various international journals and scientific conferences. He was the leading Guest Editor of the Special Issue Advancement in Machine Learning and Applications in Mathematics, IF- 2.25, MDPI, Basel, Switzerland, in 2022. He was also a guest editor in two Springer journals. He is a co-editor in the series of conference proceedings of ICRIC-2021-24 published by Springer, Singapore. He reviews many scientific journals, including IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley, and MDPI. He has Scopus citations of 1360 with an H-index of 22. He has Web of Science citations of 100 with an H-index of 12.
Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves is a Professor of Electrotechnical and Industrial Engineering with the School of Technology in the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. He is also a senior researcher at IDMEC, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. Dr. Gonçalves was trained in Mechanical Engineering, achieving the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, 1998 and 2005, respectively. Dr. Paulo J. Sequeira Gonçalves (P.J.S. Gonçalves) presented more than 100 paper in renowned journal and conferences in robotics, vision and computational intelligence. He served as Chair of the IEEE-CIS (computational Intelligence) Portuguese chapter, was officer of the IEEE RAS working group who developed the first RAS standard and one of the first ontology-based IEEE standards. He received several scientific awards both national and international. He organized and chaired several international conferences, and edited its proceedings. The organized several workshops in top-tier robotic IEEE conferences, e.g., ICRA, IROS and ROMAN. He server as a regular reviewer in top level journals. He was invited visiting professor in European Universities, in the field of robotics. Currently is Co-Chair of the IEEE P1872.2 - Standard for Autonomous Robotics (AuR) Ontology, and actively works in three other IEEE standards working groups within robotics and automation. He received funding for his research projects, in Principal Investigator and/or Researcher, from the EU, IEEE, private companies and the Portuguese National Research Funding Agency. He works as a regular expert for the European Commission and for the National Accreditation of University Study Programmes. Dr. Paulo J. Dr. Yashwant Singh is a Professor & Head of the Department of Computer Science & Information Technology at the Central University of Jammu where he has been a faculty member since 2017. Prior to this, he was at the Jaypee University of Information Technology for 10 Years. Yashwant completed his Ph.D. from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, his Post Graduate study from Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh, and his undergraduate studies from SLIET Longowal. His research interests lie in the area of Internet of Things, Vulnerability Assessment of IoT and Embedded Devices, Wireless Sensor Networks, Secure and Energy Efficient Routing, ICS/SCADA Cyber Security, ranging from theory to design to implementation. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of computer science, particularly Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering. Yashwant has served on Thirty International Conference and Workshop Program Committees and served as the General Chair for PDGC-2014, ICRIC-2018, ICRIC-2019, ICRIC-2020, and ICRIC-2021. He currently serves as coordinator of Kalam Centre for Science and Technology (KCST), Computational Systems Security Vertical at Central University of Jammu established by DRDO. Yashwant has published more than 100 Research Papers in International Journals, International Conferences, and Book Chapters of repute that are indexed in SCI and SCOPUS. He has 2278 google scholar citations, i10-index 60 and h-index 25. He has Research Projects of worth Rs.1040.9413 Lakhs in his credit from DRDO and Rs. 12.19 Lakhs from NCW. He has guided 4 Ph.D., 24 M.Tech. students and guiding 4 PhDs and 5 M.Tech.
