Biographical note
Leah Williamson plays as a defender for Arsenal and the Lionesses, England Women's Football team. In the summer of 2022 Leah captained the Lionesses to victory in the UEFA Women's Euro 2022.
As the first captain in the men’s or women’s senior teams to lead England to a European victory, Leah is uniquely positioned to motivate and inspire younger generations, and her first book, You Have the Power, is an empowering guide for children.
Jordan Glover grew up with her nose perpetually lodged in a book and as an adult, not much has changed. After completing her History Degree at The University of Edinburgh, Jordan trained as a teacher and taught Key Stage 2 before becoming a full-time writer. She now holds a Master's Degree with Distinction in Creative Writing from the Open University.
When not searching for magic and adventure between the pages of her current read, you can find Jordan living in Cambridgeshire, embarking on thrilling escapades with her husband, son, cat, and dog. The Wonder Team and the Forgotten Footballers is the first instalment in the bestselling The Wonder Team series.
Robin Boyden is a freelance illustrator based in Herefordshire in the West of England. In 2007 he graduated from University College Falmouth with a First Class Honours Degree and soon after completed a Masters in Art and Design.
Robin works in the picture book and middle grade fiction market and has previously worked as editorial illustrator. He has twice been selected for the AOI Images annual and has worked for numerous clients in the publishing and editorial sectors worldwide. His author-illustrator debut Gerald Needs A Friend came out in April 2021.
