Biographical note

Ben Faulks is an actor and writer from Cornwall, best known for his role as Mr Bloom in the CBeebies children's television show Mr Bloom's Nursery. He was nominated for a BAFTA award for best Children's Television Presenter in 2011 and the show won an RTS North And West award for best children's programme in 2011. He lives in Heptonstall, Yorkshire. This is his first picture book.

Ben Cort studied illustration at Harrow College and is the illustrator of Shark in the Dark and Aliens Love Underpants, among many others. The latter has sold over 2 million copies worldwide. He has won numerous awards including the Practical Pre-School Silver Award, the Stockport Schools' Book Award, the Sheffield Children's Book Award, the Scottish Children's Book Award, and he has been longlisted for the Greenaway Medal. Ben's interests include photography, retro tin robots and jeans - he even wore them to his wedding! He lives in Leighton Buzzard.
