Elizabeth Laird is the multi-award winning author of many successful picture books, young fiction and YA novels. Her travels across the world have influenced her style of writing and choice of topics. She is well-known for tackling a wide range of global issues through her work.After working in schools and museums Jenny Duke followed her dream: graduating from the Cambridge MA in children’s book illustration, participating in the Bologna illustrators exhibition in 2015 and 2019, and publishing her first picture book shortly afterwards.
A fun, exciting story about two cheeky, adventurous ants exploring the human world. Two little ants are excited to explore their surroundings. What can they see, taste and smell? When they end up in the little girl’s house, they are fascinated by everything she does: the movement of her pencil and the colours drawn on her paper.
