Biographical note

Leonie Lord studied illustration at Central St. Martin's College before becoming an editorial illustrator (whose clients included the Sunday Telegraph and the Guardian) and, then, a picture book illustrator. Her books include The Dirty Great Dinosaur, written by Martin Waddell, Ding Dong Gorilla, written by Michelle Robinson, as well as the Whiffy Wilson books written by Caryl Hart. Born in Gloucestershire, and after spells in London and Sydney, Leonie now lives in Cheltenham with her husband and two boys.
