“[…] the pages positively glow and as for the story well what is not to love about stories of bravery, heroism and friendship.”
Armadillo
The story has a strong moral message about power, decision making, responsibility and protecting after the earth. Beautifully illustrated with a fairy-tale quality the fable is a lyrical introduction to ecology and conservation.
Brenda Marshall, School Library Association
