A wonderful Christmas book. This story was a resounding success with my boys, the end met with cries of "again, again!" The illustrations are bright, colourful & fun. Sid & Shelly are wonderful characters, super approachable for children. This is a fantastic little story, a great bedtime read & a book I'll be looking to gift this Christmas

Biographical note

Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children’s book author. He has written numerous best-selling picture books. Mark lives in Bristol.

Sophie Corrigan gained a first-class degree in Illustration from the University of Central Lancashire, and recently earned a Distinction for her Masters Degree in Children’s Book Illustration. She is known for creating cute, silly and off-beat illustrations with character. Santa Jaws is Sophie's second picture book for Bloomsbury, following on from Mince Spies. Sophie lives in a little sweet shop in Lancashire.
