Catherine Brereton has written and edited over 100 non-fiction books for children, on a wide range of subjects. She has a lifelong love of nature and fascination with the natural world. She is the author of the RSPB Nature Guide series, illustrated by Kate McLelland.

Xuan Le is an illustrator based in Saigon, Vietnam. She studied fashion and graphic design and has illustrated artwork for a range of children’s books as well as magazines and advertising. She loves creatively combining strong colours in her art and her inspiration stems mostly from nature.
