Biographical note

Anna is a writer and editor of children's books who has adapted several fairytales for the Fairytale Classics series. She lives in London with her husband, her collection of fluffy hippos, her books, and a large supply of chocolate. If she were a fairytale character, she would probably be the trombone player from the Fairytale Classics title, Beauty and the Beast . Tim was born in Surrey in 1977, and is a freelance illustrator. His illustration work has been described as ìstorytelling with whimsical charm, warmth and humourî, and he'd like to think that is pretty true! To date he has illustrated over 50 children's books, including: 'The Magic Pet Shop' and the '20 at Bedtime' series, and 'This is Me' by CBeebies star George Webster.
