Biographical note
Susan Grant is the Author of the story. This is her first book. The story came about after Susan parked her own little blue under a tree only to find the car covered in pigeon poo the next morning. The story is beautifully illustrated by Susan's older brother, Gordon - A London based architect with a comedic eye for detail. Other similar books relating to other birds are in the pipeline.Pigeon Poos was inspired by the huge mess left by pigeons on cars that parked in a particular parking space. My car was a victim to the droppings.
The script identifies the pigeon as a pest before remembering that, like all nature, they have their place on the planet, in the pigeon's case, quite deservedly.
The rhyming style of the book plus the beautiful, humorous illustrations by Gordon Swapp, make a lovely, funny, entertaining and factually interesting book (re pigeons), for children and adults alike.
