Biographical note

Seth Burkett grew up in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Upon leaving school he moved to Brazil to play professional football. His first book, The Boy in Brazil, documents a remarkable season in Sorriso and was shortlisted for the 2015 British Sport Book Awards. He subsequently collaborated with England futsal manager Michael Skubala to create Developing the Modern Footballer Through Futsal. Most recently, Seth has ghostwritten the narrative of Neil Beasley - Football's Coming Out - which was longlisted for the 2016 William Hill Sports Book of the Year.
