Biographical note

Mike Langman (Illustrator)
A lifelong bird watcher, Mike's ambition to become a bird illustrator was established after winning a national RSPB competition at the age of 15. To date his illustrations have appeared in 53 books and his work can be found on virtually every RSPB reserve in the UK. He rarely goes anywhere without his trusty notebook and a pair of binoculars - 'you just never know what you might bump into - and want to watch or sketch'. Birdwatching is a fantastic hobby that can be developed to all sorts of levels and wherever you are in the UK or world!
