Biographical note
Isla Fisher began acting as a child and has worked solidly in television and film for the past 25 years. She has appeared in Home And Away, The Great Gatsby and Definitely Maybe, to name a few. Isla has played many roles over the years, from a bonkers bridesmaid in Wedding Crashers to the poster girl for consumerism in Confessions Of A Shopaholic. But her favourite role has been being a mummy to daughters Olive and Elula and son Monty. Isla has been making up stories at bedtime for them every night since they were born. These books are for her children, as a reminder of all the fun they have at bedtime reading books and sharing stories.
Eglantine Ceulemans spent her childhood reading Belgian comics. In 2007 she joined the Emile Cohl School of Art in Lyon, France, transforming her passion for illustration into a vocation. She loves working in an intuitive way, combining humor and sensitivity, and using different mediums and techniques. Eglantine currently resides in Lyon.
Perfect for reading aloud, or for beginner readers... the plentiful illustrations make a good transition from picture books and add hugely to children's enjoyment.

This book deserves five stars because it's so funny and creative. I would certainly want a babysitter like Marge! My favourite part was..well...I don't know, I loved it all. It was entertaining, funny and you just wanted to read on.

Again my daughter loved it. It is well written so that she looks forward to the next page to find out what happened next. Three separate stories in the book, each with lots of descriptive words allowing the reader to fully imagine being there in the story.

Well scripted for early readers and young readers discovering their first serious chapter book, there will be smiles all around as the children in your life relate to Marge in charge once again, with chaos all around, wild adventure and a good dose of hilarity ruling the day

The three books we have by Isla Fisher, Marge in Charge, Marge and the Pirate Baby and Marge and the Great Train Rescue are so much fun. We are really loving getting to know the characters and E finds it hilarious that an adult is causing lots of mischeif. These books are light hearted fun reads which I feel school aged children will really love and enjoy. The books include pictures and font that is easy to read with suitable language that children can identify with. We are really loving them and I know you will too!
