Biographical note

Alma Flor Ada is a prominent figure in education and author of a vast array of children's literature, including ¡PÍo Peep! Traditional Spanish Nursery Rhymes, which was cowritten with F. Isabel Campoy. She has received multiple accolades, including the Pura Belpré, Christopher Award, and Ohtli award from the Mexican government.

F. Isabel Campoy has received many awards, including the Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children's Book Award, NABE Ramón Santiago Award, and ALA Notable Book Award. A scholar of Hispanic culture and author of numerous children's books, F. Isabel is a member of the Academy of Spanish Language.

Maribel Suárez has been illustrating picture books since 1985, with more than 70 titles published in Mexico, Spain, and the United States. She recently started working in animation and has done 3 shorts to date.
