Caryl Lewis is an experienced and very popular Welsh-language author, voted Wales’ Favourite Welsh-Language Author in 2013. Her children’s and adults’ fiction has earned her a number of awards and accolades, including Welsh Book of the Year three times and the Tir na n-Og award twice. She also adapted all scripts for the second and third series of the acclaimed Welsh drama Hinterland. Valériane is French and lives in Wales, where she is busy making a name for herself as an artist.

Biographical note

Illustrator of 'Little Honey Bee', 'Wales on the Map', 'Four Branches of the Mabinogi' and many more, Valeriane is a French artist who has lived in Wales since 2007. She was brought up in Angers, France, and now lives in an old farmhouse near Aberystwyth with her three sons, several cats and too many chickens.
