Biographical note
Katie Sahota is a passionate writer with a strong belief in the power of books to tackle important issues such as identity, inclusion and race, using her experiences of a gender-biased career and as the mother of two mixed race girls with her husband. As an avid reader, Katie enjoys a wide range of fiction and non-fiction and loves how books bring people together and create opportunities for self-care, growth and reflection. "It's simple - books can change lives. I hope my writing will make a difference and create a positive impact on the world." After studying English Language, Linguistics and achieving a BSc in Computing, Katie more recently completed a Master's in Public Health.
