Biographical note

Sophie completed a BA(Hons) illustration degree at Falmouth University in 2008. Over the years Sophie has worked closely with museums and charities using illustration to bring history to life for young learners. She has created illustrations for national water safety campaigns and has a keen interest in using illustration for education and positive causes.

More recently Sophie has used her bold, colourful illustrations for a variety of children’s products, including early reader books, greetings cards, activity books, illustrated maps and colouring books.

Sophie lives in Bristol, UK, and works from home, balancing working life alongside caring for her
enthusiastic 4 year old son. In her spare time she enjoys exploring other creative outlets, such as ceramics, print making and working on her own story ideas.
