Kris Humphrey has been a cinema projectionist, a blood factory technician and worked at an animal sanctuary in the Guatemalan jungle. He is a graduate of the MA in Writing for Young People at Bath Spa University, and has published a middle grade fantasy quartet with Stripes. Pete Williamson began his creative career in the animation industry. He began illustrating children's books in 2008, collaborating with Marcus Sedgwick on the Blue Peter award-winning Elf Girl and Raven Boy. He has now illustrated over 65 children's books, including fiction by Francesca Simon, Matt Haig, Steve Cole, Julia Donaldson-and Charles Dickens.
