Biographical note
David Almond is the highly acclaimed author of Skellig, Clay, My Name is Mina, My Dadâs a Birdman, The Boy Who Swam with Piranhas and many other novels, short stories and plays. His books have been translated into almost forty languages and are widely adapted for the stage and screen. Dave McKean is an award-winning artist and film director whose work spans drawing, painting, photography, collage, digital art and sculpture.
