Biographical note

Emma Perry is the founder of children's book review website, My Book Corner. She founded International Book Giving Day in 2012, and won the SCBWI Slush Pile Challenge in April 2016. Emma is also the author of This Book Has Alpacas and Bears, another DFB picture book, written by Rikin Parekh. Sharon Davey is a children's illustrator with a past in Theatre Design. Her work was selected for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators #PicturesAtPlay exhibition 2019-2020. Sharon has illustrated a range of books including Do Not Disturb the Dragons (by Michelle Robinson), and written and illustrated the picture book Bears Don't Wear Shoes.
