Biographical note

Liz Lennon is a writer who specialises in children's non-fiction. She lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and young daughter, who is the best critic of her mum's work. Michael Buxton is a designer and illustrator with a wide portfolio including greetings cards, homeware and children's books. He produces quirky, fun designs with an emphasis on humour and while his work is mainly digital, he likes to keep a loose, hand-drawn feel. Michael loves to create characters and will take any chance he gets to draw monsters, cats or monster cats.
