Biographical note

Larry Hayes is easily distracted. So when he’s not writing books for children he can be found working as an investment fund manager, the trustee for a homeless charity and on Fridays he home-schools his two kids by letting them decide what to study. In the future he hopes to become a treasure hunter, private investigator, inventor of a yoghurt that makes you happy, Olympic croquet medallist and the person who solves the maths behind the human brain. Larry’s debut fiction book for children, How to Survive Without Grown-Ups, was published by Simon & Schuster in 2021. After studying for her Baccalaureat, Joelle studied arts at Strasbourg University for 4 years. She went on to Lyon to study illustration, animation and sculpture in the famous Emile Cohl School . Joelle now lives in Montpellier doing illustration for International publishers . She also plays bass guitar and sings in her rock band.
