Biographical note

Susie Hodge is an author and illustrator with a passion for all kinds of art, from technical skills to art history. She has an MA in the History of Art from Birkbeck, University of London and is a fellow of the RSA. Susie has written over 100 books on art, art history and artistic techniques for both children and adults, including drawing manuals for children, and is praised for her ability to simplify and teach complex ideas and skills in an engaging manner. As a recognised expert in her field, Susie has also appeared on a number of TV shows and YouTube channels, including CNN and Studio 10. She is based in Essex, UK.
