Biographical note

Anna James is a writer and journalist, best known for her bestselling children’s series Pages & Co. Before becoming an author she worked in a range of book‑focused jobs, including roles as a school librarian, literary scout and book news editor at The Bookseller.

Jez Tuya is a talented illustrator and character designer from New Zealand. Jez has been commissioned by many children’s book publishers and has worked with many prominent authors such as Mal Peet – winner of the Carnegie Medal and Guardian Prize. Jez has also designed characters for several animated films and TV shows including characters for DreamWorks Animation, Reel FX Creative Studios and Stirling Road Productions.
