This is a very entertaining bedtime read which we both thoroughly enjoyed - the engaging illustrations and rhyming sentences, along with Grumbelina's humourous and silly demands made us both giggle. A must-have book for anyone with a toddler under their roof!

Biographical note

Software Engineer cum author, Esther Krogdahl is the ultimate wordsmith. Her love of coding led to her dream job in the gaming industry - designing puzzles, building worlds and narrative arcs for games. Esther has worked with Disney on top-secret projects, developing mobile games played by hundreds of thousand of people around the world. Grumbelina, Esther's first children's book, is inspired by her daughter's overnight tyrannical transformation at three-and-a-half and the desire to write for parents about this challenging yet rewarding time. Aleksandra Szmidt grew up in a town in the south of Poland and currently resides in New Zealand. In Poland, she worked as a graphic designer. Upon moving, she decided to pursue her dream as a freelance illustrator. From her home studio, Aleksandra creates one-of-a-kind artworks for clients across the world.
