Red Reading Hub

<p>"A great book for primary classes learning about food. Offering essential information about the basics of food, while raising important issues, it could be used as a stimulating nonfiction class read-aloud. Much discussion would be generated by considering the alien character’s questions. This book both informs and empowers children by raising awareness that they can take action to ensure there is food for all."</p>

Books for Keeps (5 star review)

"This is such an insightful book, which would be a superb teaching aid for a Key Stage 2 science topic on plants and living things... it encourages young readers to think critically about where food comes from, who gets access to it, and how we can build a better, more sustainable future for everyone."
