In PASSION FLOWER, Stephanie, a hip fourteen year old, and Samantha, her ten-year-old sister, are stuck in the middle of their parents’ arguments. In SHRINKING VIOLET, twins Violet and Lily lead very different lives; Lily has friends and goes to parties and Violet stays at home, writing to her pen pal.
