Matt Tavares is a New York Times bestselling author-illustrator of many beloved children’s books. His books include Dasher and Dasher Can’t Wait for Christmas, Red and Lulu, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, Crossing Niagara, Henry Aaron's Dream, There Goes Ted Williams, Becoming Babe Ruth, and Growing Up Pedro, as well as Zachary's Ball and his debut graphic novel, Hoops. He is the illustrator of Jubilee! by Alice Potter, Lighter Than Air by Matthew Clark Smith, A Ben of All Trades by Michael J. Rosen and Twenty-One Steps by Jeff Gottesfeld.
