“The Jets series deserves credit for imaginative integration of text and pictures.”
The Sunday Times
The Clogpots are not very bright. And when they end up in space, who knows where their adventure will take them?
The Clogpots are so slow, they make snails look brainy! So when they try to fly a hot air balloon, it’s not surprising that things soon go disastrously wrong. They have ended up in space, with no way to get home! Things may not be exactly what they seem, but will they be able to muddle their way out of trouble?Jets is a series of simple stories with lots of lively pictures, ideal for children who are just beginning to enjoy reading.

Biographical note
Scoular Anderson lives in a house in Argyll, Scotland. He spends lots of time looking at the passing ships rather than getting on with his work. The cat and the dog often come to sleep in his studio because it's the warmest room in the house. Scoular likes writing books which are funny or make the reader learn something. He has written and illustrated about 80 books. He likes drawing dogs and castles but is not too keen on bicycles because they stick out at strange angles.
