Biographical note

Steve Smallman (Author) Steve Smallman worked as a children's book illustrator for 20 years before he decided to 'have a go' at writing his own. Now, over 100 books later, he's still at it! He visits schools, libraries and festivals, and paints murals too! When he's not working, he enjoys holidays, watching TV, gardening and juggling grandchildren! Richard Watson (Illustrator) Richard Watson grew up in a small village in North Lincolnshire. He studied illustration at Lincoln University School of Art and Design, and began working as an illustrator soon after leaving University in 2003. Richard uses a range of techniques to produce artwork mixing traditional drawing and painting with collage and mixed media. He also loves visiting galleries, watching films, and listening to music.
