Biographical note

Renee Biermann has been writing and editing K–12 educational materials for almost twenty years. She specializes in English Language Arts and content for multilingual learners. Biermann enjoys generating exciting content, tackling state standards, and lighting the flame of curiosity in young readers all at the same time. She lives and works in Iowa. Román Díaz was born in Mexico. Since he was a child, he always wanted to draw like adults. Now that he is an adult, he likes to draw like children. He's created illustrations for books, video games, and many other projects. He likes to eat colorful fruits and vegetables and admires animals in documentaries because it seems they have superpowers.
