Biographical note

László Krasznahorkai was born in Gyula, Hungary, in 1954. He is the author of The Last Wolf, War & War, The Melancholy of Resistance, Seiobo There Below, all published by Serpent's Tail, and several other works. He has won numerous prizes, including the International Man Booker Prize 2015, 2013 Best Translated Book Award, and 1993 Best Book of the Year Award in Germany.
