This novella, "The Retail Therapist", which is the prequel to "Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen! (Or so Mother Says)", by Colette Kebell, takes us to the birthing of GiGi's Personal Shopping business. After finishingI wanted to keep reading about GiGi and Ritchie...believing Colette Kebell has more of this story to tell. Annie - Chick Lit Plus. GiGi ranks amongst some of my all-time favourite fictional characters and I couldn't wait to become re-acquainted with her and her shopping addiction, only this time we are going back in time to see how it all started off for GiGi before she became the successful fashion consultant that she is today. I was relieved to see that GiGi is still exactly the same fashion-addicted, fun-loving girl who can sniff out a bargain at fifty paces as she was in Blue and Green Should Never Be Seen. Holly - Bookaholic Confessions. Gigi has had her fair share of mundane jobs and finally settles on being a personal shopper - and not the kind you find in department stores either. This is a real insight into her world .. funny, giggle-out-loud moments along with a few lows which all add up to one fabulous read! Only one complaint - there's not enough of it. I would point out, though, that the book is a lot longer that the page count given by Amazon. I cannot wait to read Blue and Green Should Never be Seen! (Or So Mother Says) and I know that Colette Kebell is going to be around for a long time to come. Her books are a real find!! - Grace - Kindle Bargains UK

Window shopping! Don't you just hate the term? It is like going into a sweet shop and not being able to buy anything, or not knowing what to buy first. That is exactly my line of business, helping people make the right choice. I'm one of those fashion consultants that are so popular nowadays amongst the upper crust, although I started ages ago. Choosing the right clothes for the right occasion is not an easy task: the dress has to match your personality and, if it can, enhance it. This story is about how I abandoned the rat race, spending days in a legal office, and followed my dream of becoming a fashion consultant. I believe I'm something more though, I'm a Retail Therapist and I'm sure you are itching to know the story about how I started and how I helped my clients look fabulous! So, what are you waiting for? Hurry up, click that "buy" button up there and be prepared to enter the mysterious world of a Berkshire Retail Therapist girl.

Biographical note

After being a Legal Secretary for about 10 years, I was on the hunt to find something else that I would find just as interesting. I found that in writing and I hope you like what you read. I love fashion with a passion (pardon the pun) and therefore it is not surprising that my debut novel was going to follow that theme. This is my first novel, but it was intended to be the first of a series, and hopefully shall be, as at this point I would dearly love to be working on the revising my next book. This book is a work of fiction, although there are elements of this book that are based on myself and/or my husband. Those elements started from a small seed and grew to be developed into full characters within this book, at the time that it was written. Both my copy editor and I then edited it, during the Christmas period. Please keep your eyes peeled for GiGi's next instalment. I have many other interests, though I love writing. You could also look at my website and see what news is on there at www.ColetteKebell.com or follow me on either twitter @ColetteKebell or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Colette-Kebell/882613368417057. I also have to say a massive thank you to those of you who have read and reviewed my book as reviews are the all important factor, though not the only factor, that helps other readers to decide whether or not to read my book. Oh, and I'm on Goodreads as well, for those of you who are interested, so please take a look.
