Biographical note

Sang Young Park is the author of Love in the Big City which was longlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize. His other books include Lie Like Lines, No Snacking Tonight, and The Tears of an Unknown Artist, or Zaytun Pasta. One of Korea's most acclaimed young writers in recent years, his prizes include two Munhakdongne Young Writer Prizes, the Lee Hyoseok Literary Award, and the Shin Donghyeop Literary Award. Anton Hur has won PEN translation grants transatlantically and was double-longlisted and shortlisted for the 2022 International Booker Prize. He has published translations of books by Kyung-Sook Shin, Hwang Sok-yong, Kang Kyeong-ae, Sang Young Park, Bora Chung, and others.
