Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald (1896–1940) was an American writer best known for his novels depicting the 1920s Jazz Age, the most famous and critically acclaimed of them being The Great Gatsby. His other novels are This Side of Paradise, The Beautiful and Damned, and Tender Is the Night. He also published short stories and wrote screenplays.
