Biographical note

In a career spanning 30 years, Laurence Anholt has produced more than 200 books for every age from babies to adults, including multi-award winning Young Adult novel, The Hypnotist.

Laurence comes from a Dutch family with roots stretching back to Persia. He studied Fine Art at Falmouth School of Art and the Royal Academy in London.

He lives and works in an upside-down eco house on a hill overlooking the sea in Devon. His interests include meditation and walking on the Undercliff at Lyme Regis.

THE MINDFUL DETECTIVE series is Laurence's first venture into crime fiction.
