Biographical note

Dr Somasundaram Jayaraman is a Principal Scientist at the Division of Soil Physics, ICAR–Indian Institute of Soil Science, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. He has authored/edited 10 books and published more than 100 research papers and 50 plus book chapters. Dr Jayaraman has mentored post-graduate students, PhD scholars and young scientists.Professor Ram C Dalal is a Professor/Adjunct Professor in the School of Agriculture and Food Science at the University of Queensland, Australia, and Adjunct Professor at Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidalya, India. He has published more than 450 publications with more than 20,000 citations. Prof Dalal has mentored PhD Scholars, research scientists and visiting scholars for five decades.Professor Rattan Lal is a University Professor of Soil Science and Director of CFAES Rattan Lal Center for Carbon Management and Sequestration (CMASC), The Ohio State University, and an Adjunct Professor of University of Iceland. He published more than 2762 research publications with over 140,000 citations. Prof. Lal has mentored more than 350 graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, research scientists and scholars from around the world.
