Biographical note

Jeffrey Haynes, the author of more than 40 books, is a professor of politics and director of the Centre for the Study of Religion, Conflict and Cooperation at London metropolitan University, where he teaches courses on international relations. Peter Hough is an Associate Professor of International Relations at Middlesex University where he leads the MA International Relations course. He has published recent books on the politics of security, the environment and the Arctic.
