Biographical note

Teresa Heapy is an award-winning author who started her career as a Commissioning Editor in children’s publishing. She has written 10 picture books, including the award-winning Very Little series, and over 80 educational titles. Her books have been translated into 13 languages. She loves visiting libraries, schools, bookshops and festivals to read to children and inspire them to write their own books. Davide is an artist from the island of Sardinia. He enjoys wearing brown and reading classic literature such as Moby Dick and Jane Eyre. In his books, he creates illustrations that blend the atmosphere of classic tales with a modern, contemporary vision, aiming to emphasize diversity and inclusivity. With more than seventy books published, he lives with his cat, Alex, in a beautiful attic in Madrid, where he enjoys fulfilling his dream of working as an illustrator.
