"This book will become a standard work for understanding how extremely important logistics management is to run a business, especially in times of hypercompetition in a complex market. Strategic Logistics Management's approach, starting with an understanding of logistics management and then transitioning into how to strategically put the theory into practice, makes the book a must-read for both company and retail management. After reading the book, I can only agree with Erik about what he writes in the preface: 'In particular, it provides a comprehensive overview of the intersection between strategic management theory on the one hand and logistics and supply chain management practice on the other.'"
