Biographical note

Henry W. Lane is Professor of International Business and Strategy at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. He has written numerous books, articles and case studies. Professor Lane received the 2009 Academy of Management, International Management Division’s Outstanding Educator Award. He is active as a consultant and faculty member for university and corporate courses around the world and has taught at business schools in Canada, France, Germany, Finland, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

Martha L. Maznevski is Professor of Organizational Behavior and International Management and Director of the MBA Program, at the Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, Switzerland.  Her research focuses on high-performing global teams and leading people in global complexity. She has published many articles and books about cross-cultural effectiveness, global leadership, teams, and other international management topics.  Her teaching spans a broad range of international organizational behavior themes, and she has worked in Europe, North America, Africa, Asia, Australia and South America, addressing challenges and opportunities of managing people globally.
