This book is written in association with Dr Sharie Coombes. This is an interactive self-care activity book for children aged 7+ to colour and doodle their way to happiness, calm and confidence. The encouraging and simple, yet well designed, activities and exercises tackle anxiety, sadness and stress; children will enjoy using their creativity to combat negative feelings, work out why they feel worried and how to put stress back in its place through writing, colouring, doodling and drawing. Whether working systematically through the book, or just dipping in and out for a few minutes relaxation, this is an excellent new series that will benefit both children and adults, and make it easier for them to express their feelings.

Katie Abey (Illustrator)
Katie Abey is a yellow-haired illustrator human who lives in a teeny hobbit-like house in Derbyshire. She lives with a cat, a hedgehog, a husband and the world's smiliest baby. Her work provides doses of happiness and motivation with a little dash of sarcasm. Her love of colour is reflected in her brightly coloured studio space and her hair, which frequently changes colour to match its surroundings. As well as illustrating the Mindful Kids series, Katie is the author and illustrator of We Wear Pants and We Eat Bananas.
