Biographical note
Jon Glasby is Professor of Health and Social Care and Head of the School of Social Policy, University of Birmingham. A qualified social worker by background, he has been a board member of the Social Care Institute for Excellence, is NHS Non-Executive Director and sits on the Board of Birmingham Children’s Trust.“Jon Glasby has successfully integrated a historical perspective and key analytical concepts to produce a text which is comprehensive and simple but not simplistic.
