Biographical note

Prof. Mahmoud Fathi Sakr is a professor of Surgery at the Head, Neck and Endocrine Surgery Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University, Egypt. He graduated in 1981, obtained his Master's Degree (MS), and earned his Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Surgery at Alexandria University, Egypt. He completed his fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (PA), USA. Prof. Sakr is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons (ICS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS). His main areas of interest are Head and Neck surgery and Endocrine surgery. To date, Prof. Sakr has authored 32 national books and 12 international books. He has also published 5 "Patient Information Series," a "Manual for Clinical Practice," and 128 scientific articles in esteemed journals. Additionally, he serves as an editorial board member for many reputable international journals.
