Biographical note
Matthew Debnam, MD is a Professor of Neuroradiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He received his medical degree and completed an internship in internal medicine and a diagnostic radiology residence at Tulane University. This was followed by a 2-year fellowship in neuroradiology and year on staff and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has been practicing neuroradiology at MD Anderson Cancer Center for over 18 years and has achieved the academic rank of Professor of Neuroradiology. As a practicing neuroradiologist he interprets ultrasound, CT, and MRI images of the brain, spine, head and neck, and orbit. He also instructs medical students, radiology residents, and fellows, and participates in multidisciplinary conferences with head and neck surgeons, neurosurgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, as well as radiation and medical oncologists. Dr. Debnam has lectured on orbital tumors atmultiple conferences, written 17 book chapters, and published 63 peer-reviewed manuscripts including 25 relating to tumors of the orbit. He previously served on the editorial board of the American Journal of Neuroradiology.
