Biographical note
Dr. Reza Montasari is Senior Lecturer in cyber threats at the Department of Criminology, Sociology and Social Policy at Swansea University, the UK. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in multimedia computing and an M.Sc. in computer forensics both from the University of South Wales and a Ph.D. in digital forensics from the University of Derby. Dr. Montasari is also Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Chartered Engineer (CEng), and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). At Swansea University, he is Member of the Cyber Threats Research Centre (CYTREC). Additionally, he serves as Member of the strategic independent advisory group at South Wales Police (Cardiff, the UK).
He is Prolific Publisher of academic research. Furthermore, Reza is Experienced Professor, Supervisor, and Examiner for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral candidates. His experience extends to designing, developing, and validating new programs and modules.
Professor. Hamid Jahankhani gained his Ph.D. from the Queen Mary College, University of London. In 1999, he moved to the University of East London (UEL) to become First Professor of Information Security and Cyber Criminology at the university in 2010. Over the last 15 years, Hamid have also been involved in developing new and innovative programmes and introducing “block mode” delivery approach at UEL. Hamid’s principal research area for a number of years has been in the field of cybersecurity, information security, and digital forensics. In partnership with the key industrial sectors, he has examined and established several innovative research projects that are of direct relevance to the needs of the UK and European information security, digital forensics industries, critical national infrastructure, and law enforcement agencies.
Professor Jahankhani is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Electronic Security and Digital Forensics, www.inderscience.com/ijesdf, and International Journal of Electronic democracy, www.inderscience.com/ijedDr. Anthony Masys is Associate Professor of global health in the College of Public Health. Former Senior Defence Scientist and Senior Air Force Officer, Dr. Masys has a B.Sc. in physics and M.Sc. in underwater acoustics and oceanography from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Ph.D. from the University of Leicester. He is Editor-in-Chief for Springer Publishing book series: Advanced Sciences and Technologies for Security Applications and holds various advisory board positions with academic journals and books series.
Dr. Masys is an Associate Professor in the College of Public Health, University of South Florida. He is an internationally recognized author, speaker, and facilitator and has held workshops on security, visual thinking, design thinking, futures thinking and systems thinking in Europe, Canada, South America, West Africa, and Asia. He has published extensively in the domains of physics and the social sciences. Dr Masys is the Editor in Chief for the Springer book series: Advanced Sciences and Technologies for Security Applications.
