I've lent it to some who are open-minded and interested in Christian faith but not necessarily committed, and they have been impressed.

A comment from a man who has no Christian faith and read it recently:

I’d say that any atheist ought to read that book at some point in their life. The man writes clearly and uses really powerful metaphors that really help me to understand better. I’ve never read a book like it before.

Forty pilot whales lie stranded on Darlington Beach, Tasmania. Marine conservation biologist Andrew Irvine knows he must act fast... The Bible teaches that as the whale was made for the ocean, men and women were made for God. Our relationship with him is the environment in which we are free to be fully human. Author Mike Cain unpacks Jesus' claims in John's Gospel and shows us why they cannot be ignored: sin, forgiveness and restoration affect us personally. With humour, originality, passion and sensitivity, Mike asks us to look again at Jesus: the real-life version, not the caricature. This is a heartfelt appeal from one whose own life has been transformed.
